What an interesting day for a long run...

I got to RAD's house about 8:15 and we took the dog out for a mile warm-up.  Quarter mile in Rachel was pulling the dog along and the pup was out of breath.  I have never experienced running by a dog before,so it was all new to me.

The wind was a bit crazy so we took the 'Herrriman Hills' route.  It actually wasn't too bad as we climbed up the hills.  On the way down we were caught in a wind storm.  We stopped at Smith's for a drink.  Once I stopped I was really dizzy because of the crazy whipping wind.  She called her hubby and met us three miles south of the Smith's.

Happy I got 13 in today.  Thanks RAD.

Oh that wind was nasty - never again! However, I found out later why Craig took so long to pick us up: he was out getting my birthday present at the district :)
