Utah Valley Marathon 2013: PR 3:16:20, 1st division.

Running With the Bulls 5k 2011: 20:02, 1st place

Race For The Cure 10k, San Antonio 2013: 42:47, 2nd overall

Short-Term Running Goals:

Run a sub 3:20 @ Air Force Marathon 2015.

Sub 20 min 5k

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Run a 3(ish) hour marathon before I am 40.

First time on my bikes in months!  I hate where I live for riding.  The SLC area stinks!  Roads are either up or down or I ride on dangerous roads with lots of cars.  It felt so good to be back on my bike!  My knees enjoy this type of exercise. 

I went back to the shoulder doctor on Monday.  They took an X-ray and my shoulder still has a big crack in it, but I am well into the recovery phase.  He told me I could start back into weight baring exercises.  Swimming is okay and after the marathon I will start lifting again.  :)

I can't believe how stinkin' tough you are girl! Seriously, a big crack in your scapula and you're off to run marathons.

Was it strange/frightening at all to be back on the bike at first? I think I'd have a little PTSD about it.

Maybe we should make a swim date sometime the week after the marathon?!?
