Run a sub 3:20 @ Air Force Marathon 2015.

7 miles on TM. MMG Monday. Lots of hills

It was nap time and I sat down on the couch after putting naomi in bed. The doorbell rang and my new running shoes came. Opened up the box and gave them a long stare. I laced them on and minutes later I was running on my TM. Thank you for the motivation on a Monday.

In the morning I did a mom and tot class. Naomi would do some of the workouts with me. She would lay on her belly and head bang when I did pushups. Yikes. I bet that is how I look to her. Long day with a grumpy, teething toddler.

7 miles on tm while watching music videos. It has been AMAZING outside and I have been running on the TM during nap time. Guess it's time to go run the stroller around.

I downlaoded new tunes.  I just had to needed a run to let off a lot built up steam.  7:09 AP. Hello!!!!! Those tunes made me push the pace.  Super excited about this, haha, the litthe things in life.  :)  Perfect weather and new shoes don't hurt either.

Long run with Brittany.  Before the 5k, we ran a 8:16 AP for 13 miles!  She is an awesome runner, so so so proud of her.

5k race after our miles.  The past two weeks I have failed at nutrition miserably and I forgot to take a GU before the race again.  I didn't run with Naomi and I ran a 21:22, placing after David.  Next came Brittany with a 23 something?  I forgot, but she did well for the course and our conditions.  

We cooled down for a mile.  Happy with this run.  I don't feel like I am training for a marathon at all, which I guess I'm really not because I am pacing a 4:15.  Makes me really want to run a marathon in the following weeks after The Woodlands Marathon, I just can't find any that work with our schedule.

20 miles for our last real long run before the marathon.  8:36 pace, so slow because of my big lack of energy.  I felt bad holding Brittany back, we went faster than I thought I was dragging, so that's good.

We did push Naomi for the first half of the run, so that contributed to the sluggishness.  Good run, I feel comfortable pacing 9:44 (4:15)

7 miles pushing Naomi around the base on all of the hills.  I felt ok today and we averaged 8:30, which is really good for wind and stroller.

MMG workout. Felt so good to work hard on uphill for 50 minutes. 6.8 speed the entire way. Well my last 6% and 5% were on 6.5. 6% the second time is ALWAYS the most difficult part of this workout.

One mile without incline and that felt nice.

There was a 5k on base this morning and thank goodness there was, or else I don't think I would have gone running. My body is super fatigued and I have a big lack of motivation to get outside since all of my running is to be done pushing naomi around. I don't mind but I get so so tired.

Did the 5k and I ran it a record slowest for me 24:45. I wasn't trying to race (seriously) and my body wouldn't go. I wanted to run 10 miles today but it just wasn't going to happen in my state. Plus I had to get to the post office.
