Olympic oval Revolution Run is one of my favorite runs for some odd reason. 5 hours of running on an indoor track. Come and go as you please, run as far or as short as you would like. My goal was to run a marathon distance to make it my 30th marathon.

We got there an hour early and sat and waited. Started right at 8 and the first 2 hours went by very slowly. Ran with David the entire time and Rachel here and there. This run is interesting because you watch the fast runners pass and pass the slower runners.

Usually I never fuel well on this run. They just have one fully stoked aid station and you can grab stuff as needed. We had a GU every your and salt stick every half hour. I also pooped two ibuprofen . I felt really well the last half. At ten laps to go, our goal was to push the speed and not stop anymore.

Overall, I just enjoy this race because you just run and you don't really think about speed or mileage. You also feel well since it's completely flat and the air is held at 60 degrees and extremely dry.

That sounds like a pretty neat run, and a good way to kick off 2016.

30! I thought I was cool with my 8 or whatever...

It is always as race I look forward to doing with you! Someday I'll keep up with you on this run and get to chat the full 5 hours :)

How do you know you pooped 2 ibuprofen? That's gross.

Pooped! Haha. Just checking to see if people actually read my posts. No wonder why I felt great at the end.

Rachel-i don't think I could go all 5 hours for this run!
